Managing Online Consult Forms in EMIS Web

Note – EMIS Web version 8.5 or higher is required.

Online Consult has the ability to integrate with EMIS Web. Once activated, forms completed by patients via Patient Access will be placed into Document Management within EMIS Web. This allows for a seamless flow of automated form submission as the patient will be identified from Patient Access and then accordingly within EMIS Web.

Online Consult forms submitted via Patient Access and passing into EMIS Web can be located as follows:

  1. Log in to EMIS Web and select Workflow Manager.
  2. From the left hand menu, select Document Manager.
  3. Within the Inbox section, select Online Triage and find the document for the required patient.
  4. You can view the submitted form by selecting the Document tab from the received EMIS document.
